5/21/2022: Woke up to a chilly 46 degrees in Des Moines this morning, but I refuse to put long pants on!! Our stay in Des Moines was short, but very enjoyable with a wonderful evening with Aaron, Jane, and the kids. We had a shorter travel day heading up to Sioux Falls but we did end up having to fight the wind a little. Really sucked the gas milage down!.
We are staying at the Big Sioux Recreation Area campground that is located just outside Sioux Falls in the small community of Brandon. We finally will be staying put for a little while (6 days) and will give us a chance to connect with family, friends, and enjoy my childhood city of Sioux Falls.
